Gavin Mundschau
President / Agency Owner
Gavin Mundschau is the owner and operations manager of Roadrunner Freight Management LLC and a Landstar Agent (Agency GVM). Now 23 years old, he entered the freight industry at just 18 years old, starting as an independent dispatcher working with local trucking companies to secure loads and keep their operations moving. From there, he advanced into a sub-agent role, gaining deeper insight into market conditions, pricing, and the day-to-day needs of both drivers and shippers.
At 21, Gavin launched his own business, later establishing it as Roadrunner Freight Management LLC in March 2025. Since then, he has built his company around a simple philosophy: strong relationships, clear communication, and dependable service are the foundation of success in this industry.
A life-changing accident at 19 reshaped Gavin’s perspective on both business and life. After falling asleep at the wheel during a long drive, he survived a severe crash that left him with multiple critical injuries and fighting for his life. That experience gave him a deep respect for the risks drivers take every day on the road and reinforced his commitment to safety, attention to detail, and accountability in every shipment he handles.
Today, Gavin takes a hands-on approach to every load, ensuring each shipment is carefully managed from start to finish. As a husband and father of two, he understands the importance of reliability, trust, and doing things the right way—values that carry into every customer relationship. He remains highly accessible, providing direct communication and quick response times so customers always have someone they can rely on.
